Our Story

History of Company

J. Wayne Miller Co. (JWMC) was formed in 1982 by J. Wayne Miller to manage properties owned and developed by him or partnerships where he has a substantial ownership.  J. Wayne Miller was also president of Retail Management Company (RMCO) which, formed in 1985, has not only managed five commercial properties developed by the general partners, but on three occasions, RMCO has been retained by a local financial institution to manage REO’s.  In early 2009 Mr. Miller bought out his partner in RMCO and folded the company into JWMC.


J. Wayne Miller believes that consistent first hand contact with existing tenants and potential tenants as well as leasing brokers, gives his company the ability to respond to tenants and changing market conditions quickly.  Our quick response many times is the key to making an existing tenant happy and signing a potential tenant.
